I am looking for the birth of Elsie kate Andrews, she was married in 1922 to Thomas Silver at hartley Wintney, it states she was 26 on the marriage certificate and her father as Thomas Andrews deceased.

I think its her in Hartley Wintney in 1901 with the cook family, I have no idea why.

am confused!

I am researching the name Silver in the Hartley Wintney area, Thomas Silver married Elsie kate Andrews in 1922. They went on to have John and Elsie, I am interested in finding Thomas' parents, any help would be gratefully received,

I am researching the Andrews family of Winchester, in the 1861 census Edward Andrews is living in Winchester, Hampshire with his mother and family. Later census's show that the lady he married was called Georgianna Amelia Drake. In 1862 in Sydney an Edward Andrews is seen marrying Georgianna Amelia Drake Mounsdon, BUT by November 1862 they appear to be back in england baptising their first daughter, Georgiana!

Can anyone help explain how this could be possible?? i can find no records of them of any ship lists!

Hi,

I'm looking for the birth of Edward Penn, born abt1870 Stoke Poges, any help in finding his birth and parents would be greatly appreciated.

I believe he also had a sister, Louisa, born abt 1868 Stoke Poges. Both were living with Aunts and Uncles in the 1881 and 1891 censuses.

I have a Katherine or Catherine Francis in Uckfield Workhouse giving birth to a son Robert William Francis in 1924, I need to find out if she had her son Ronald with her who would have been 2 years old.
This is a real mystery for us as she was born and lived in East Stour Dorset and we have no idea why she moved to Uckfield, please could someone let me know how to find records for the workhouse, many thanks,

Hiya everyone,
Awhile back someone very kindly helped us to find Alfred Beebys birth and parents (b 1844 Woodford near Thrapstone) This was really useful and we thought we would be then able to find his marriage to Ellen.......
However it is proving very difficult, we know it should be around 1864? Can anyone help? It would be really great to be able to find out her surname!

Hiya,
I'm looking for the family of Cyril Bird b. 1910 in Chipping Sodbury area, I believe that his father was a footman for the Earl of Beaufort and I think they lived in Little Badminton.
I've been finding it really difficult to find any records in this area and wondered if anyone could help?
