Good morning everyone many thanks for your comments and tips - l think the suggestion of a subscription is a good idea as the cousin/aunt doesn't have a tree

Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / 1st cousin or 1/2 aunt
« on: Tuesday 24 September 24 09:57 BST (UK)  »
I have a female match on Ancestry I don't know who she is and messages have gone unanswered.
I can only assume she is on my unknown father's line.
She was shown as 1st or 2nd cousin 802cM 11%shared DNA
now it's 1st cousin or 1/2 aunt.
Is it unusual for this change on Ancestry

Hi there QueenoftheWest many thanks for your tip and reply
I think late c/o Jas Kehoe was maybe caring for Charles before being hospitalized l do know Charles was homeless.
If this message is repeated l think of lost the plot at moment
By the way l would never have deciphered the exact location Kathleen

Hi econ1219
All l know about the school is the reference to my grandmother stating she  was due t to be sent there - perhaps the school was part of the workhouse. Maybe you could get more detail about the workhouse if you Google the name it may bring up Peter Higginbottom who l think has researched all the workhouses he was linked to Leeds University Yorkshire Kathleen

Hi econ 1219 sorry  to say l haven't moved on any further with searches into this school and where my grandmother was educated. I had thought originally as her mother had died and the family had entered the  workhouse regularly (most winter periods) that the workhouse were trying to  help the two boys and Kate get  some stability. I'm guessing the workhouse wouldn't have wanted the children living there infinitely.
If l managed to learn anymore about the school l will post here Kathleen
