Family Bibles / Havens Family Bible looking for its home
« on: Monday 09 April 12 19:31 BST (UK)  »
Somehow I have become the owner of a Havens Family Bilbe and have spent hours trying to locate an appropriate home. I am thinking the line recorded in it has all died out.  :-\
The first of the Family Record pages begins with:
Alonzo Lynnville Havens, born in Columbia city, Whitley Co., Indiana. April 25, 1849.
Helen Emilia Allen. born in Albion Tp., Oswego County, New York. May 21, 1846.
Durell Alonzo Havens, son of A.L.Havens and H.E.Allen Havens, born in Clay Tp., Shelby Co., Iowa. May 19th 1879.
Ruth Helen Havens, ...
Kirby E. Havens ...

Just to let those with Pemberton interest know - the Pemberton DNA Project, hosted at Family Tree DNA, has identified the exact DNA of one George Pemberton, b. ca. 1660, Cheshire. He was married to Sarah Middleton. His son George Pemberton emmigrated to the Virginia Colony about 1710. The Project is looking to identify all major branches of the Pemberton family and has just confirmed the DNA of the line commonly called the Huguenot Pembertons of Manakintown, Virginia. You can read more about these at http://PFWW.org
