Wexford / Re: Doyles

The Michael Doyle Roselands previously mentioned in the 1901 census was still in that townsland in the 1911 census so is obviously not the Michael you require.
Have you any idea of his age when he died as this might be of help when searching.

Could it be Oylgate?

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Re: Census 1901 lookup please - Kehoe
« on: Monday 13 June 11 19:50 BST (UK)  »
Thank you - the first one may be who I'm looking for, the other one the date is wrong.  I have Mary's birth cert and she was born 1872.

The marriage is not hers either but I have the info on that.

Methinks I need to do some further checking!

The Mary Kehoe I am looking for was not married until 1903 and had no children before that.  She may have been in service because when she got married she was a cook in Hoylake.

I am trying to establish when Mary went to Liverpool after being with family in Ireland for a few years.

Thanks in anticipation.    Mary.

Can someone please check the 1901 census for Mary Kehoe b.1872 to Margaret (Bolger) and John Kehoe in Rathbone st Liverpool.  I would like to establish at what stage she returned to Liverpool after being in Ireland for some years.
Many thanks. Mary.

Wexford / Re: Location of "Sea View", Wexford in 1865?
« on: Wednesday 18 May 11 13:03 BST (UK)  »
I am open to correction here but since Wexford is the 'local' registration office it could be that the Sea View could have been outside the town.

There is a Seaview in Kilmore parish and all deaths etc would have been registered in Wexford town as there was no registrar in rural areas.

It may be worth looking at the surrounding areas.

Sorry to have to tell you but Mayglass is in the Parish of Ballymore - not Piercestown which is the adjoining parish.

Wexford / Re: William Dunbar

Ok - I did check if there was a William in the 1901 census but there isn't one listed in the county - but not all the county is complete.

There are a number of Williams in the 1911 - you might be able to find him in another county.

There is only one William listed in what is available in 1901, he is in Mayo and aged 53 but his wife is Mary - so that too is not what you want. Sorry.

Mary.

Would this be the same William you are looking for? (1911 Census)
