Paul Cudmore (1737 - 1806) was my 6th great grandfather. I am slowly adding Cudmores to Wikitree

Late to the discussion .... I have found a photo of a pen and sepia and black in drawing of Rosydyon Tower. The original is, I believe, in the collection of Kelmarsh Hall where many de Crespigny family pictures are held. The inscription on the drawing is "Rosydyon Tower the seat of Sir William de Crespigny Bt." The drawing is said to be done by Mary Catherine Champion de Crespigny. Mary (1810-1858) was Sir William's daughter.
Somebody asked about the burial place for Sir William. It seems he was buried Sir Giles, Camberwell according to a record retrieved from ancestry.com : Board of Guardian Records, 1834-1906 and Church of England Parish Registers, 1813-1906. London Metropolitan Archives, London.

I know who these women are - they are my great grandmother Kathleen Cavenagh-Mainwaring, born 1874 in the middle at the back, and her sisters (born 1867-1882). The photo was probably taken in England. My grandmother has written on the back the date 1908. I don't think my great grandmother was in England that year and the sisters could not have been gathered together. My grandmother was born in Australia in June 1908.

There is no information about the photographer on the photo - it was trimmed to fit in a silver frame.

I was wondering if anyone could help with dating reasonably specifically looking at say the hairstyles or dresses.

Many thanks

I am related to his wife.  She was the daughter of my 3*great grandmother by her first marriage.  Francis Gamble Blood and his wife Charlotte Constance née James had a son but he died without issue.

Many thanks

Many thanks Mary

I live about 1 1/2 hours Melbourne so was going to follow up another posters suggestion about films in Melbourne at some stage.

He died in London so I was curious about what the entry might say. I will contemplate the implications but appreciate very much the transcription.

Anne
