Hi Carolyn. I’m a bit puzzled by your reference to London. I’m not saying that it’s not true. It’s just that I don’t know much about my family’s history beyond my great grandfather, John Mallett. Robert’s father may have been my great grandfather’s brother.
My great grandfather, John Mallett was born in Norwich and lived there all of his life. He was a builder. That’s why I’m surprised by your research. It’s all very interesting. How did you discover those facts? Unfortunately all those people that may have known have died. All the paintings by R Mallett that I have seen have been of woodland and landscape around Norwich.
