Many thanks however I have already tried there.  Doesn't seem to be anything about Isobel or John however, found information about their son William.  Really seem to have hit a brick wall with Isobel.

I am looking for Isobel Farquhar who married John Laing.  They had a son William b: 12 Sept 1797 in Archiestown.
I don't seem to be able to find anything about Isobel or if indeed she married John.  John was born in Archiestown on 22 December 1767.

I have ancestors from Knockando called Thomson.  Isobel Thomson b: 8 Sept 1793.  Parents were William Thomson and Anne McDonald.
