Yorkshire (West Riding) Lookup Requests / Re: Spencer & Boyle family, Leeds

Not much more I can offer, as far as I remember this ribbon cam from my grandmothers,  and she would have been around  30  when Richard died, and by then my grandmother was married and bringing up 3 boys. So not sure where Richard fits in, apart from maybe other family connections.
Her maiden name was Cattle, married name Keir. First name Elsie. This could either help or hinder !
I will have a dig about in the box of old family papers and see what I can find that might shed further light.

I have something that may be of interest. It is a silk bookmark, for want of a better description, to the memory of Richard Spencer.
I believe this came from my grandmothers house when it was cleared after she died.
She may well have been friends  with Richard, or Elizabeth. I can give her name later if anyone feels that may help but for now I will outline the details on the silk ribbon.

In loving memory of Richard Spencer, the beloved husband of Elizabeth Spencer
Who  departed this life aged 64 years  on August 28th 1929 aged 64 years.
And was interred in Burmantofts Cemetery on August 31st

There is an adress printed below this, 22 Hadfield St. but I am unsure as to what this relates to.

Hope this may be of use.

(ps. my first post, so forgive me barging in!)
