I have just acquired a clipping from the Illustrated London News from 2nd February 1859 and there is a small picture of the Risbridge Union Workhouse at Kedington should you still be interested?

I also have a huge map collection that I am parting with covering all areas some dating back to the 17th century (mostly at county level).  I have many town plans from 1898 and some unusual views of London from yesteryear.  They are all 'original' and printed over 100 years ago - I welcome any questions...

Hello all...

I am trying to find out what happened to a relative "George William Barnard", aka "George William Barnett" who was from Barney in Norfolk.  I know he was born in the 1880's and was a chauffeur.  He was imprisoned in Norwich around 1924/5 and was released 18 months later and that's where the trail goes cold!

If anyone can give me any advice on finding a resource to pick up the trail again (possibly he went back to Barney but was living in Norwich when arrested).  Any help gladly received.

I wouldn't dare commit this info to my tree yet but it does give me an impetus to root around my own family archives armed with these 'teasers'.

I'm still relatively new to this but the site and all the people on it are great for ideas and help.
