Would one of the 7 children of John Lee, be Jane Lee. I have a relative Jane Lee who married Charles Mccullum in 1851. They came from Dawson Grove.

John and Jane Lee had a daughter Jane, but she married a Mills here in NZ. Perhaps your Jane Lee was his sister.

Hi there,
I too am a descendant of this couple, through their eldest child, Elizabeth Margaret (known as Margaret). They came to NZ as a married couple on the Lord Auckland, arriving on 24 March 1845. I am told they married in Scotland, which was where Edward met Maria. He was from Bristol, born 1 March 1821.

Hi Dave. Is your William Lee connected at all to John Lee b 1810 in Co MoOnaghan, married Jane McCallum, had 7 children, 6 of whom emigrated to New Zealand? Drum, Killeevan, Aghabog, Dawson Grove are all place names known to be connected to these Lees. Any information you can share on Lees in Monaghan would be very welcome.
