A short synopsis - my gt gt grandfather William W.Marsh was Bros of CMM - his son Frederick William came to Monmouth via Brighton, when in Monmouth they had permanently living with them Julia M Finis (a niece?) - In some old photos I found a picture of a grave (my grandfather loved taking graves) On it is inscribed:-
IN LOVING MEMORY OF CHARLES MAYNARD MARSH WHO WAS DROWNED OFF NEWCASTLE N.S.W OCTOBER 1881 AGED 35YEARS ALSO
OF FREDERICK CHARLES MARSH AGED 1 YEAR AND 11 MONTHS
NOT LOST BUT GONE BEFORE
Frederick C Marsh death was registered in Dover 29 523
