Hello again,

I would be really grateful if you could clarify something .  You mention Jacob's father as a 'David" and also his brother Jeremiah's son as 'David'.

The lady I paid for my sources has transcribed Daniel in place of this.   Would you be able to verify at all which one it is.

Thank you again

Claire

Hello,

Interesting to read what you have commented on.   I am also in touch with Judith (vaguely) in Canada and Ann in Scotland over the Massiah's.

I was interested to know how you sourced the Will of Jacob.......as I paid someone in Barbados to try and turn up info on the Massiah's .    Anything you can help me with would be much appreciated.  it is the Strand of Benjamin's family that I am interested in , several ancestors relating to 4x removed G.Grandparents.   Those words on the Memorial stone of Benjamin Massiah were quite lovely I agree thank you

Hallo,

I came across this and I am interested to share info .   Rachel's father comes up as Witness and Executor to my 5 x G.Grandfather Abraham Lindo.   It would seem there are a lot of marriages between the Massiah's and Lindo's so I am interested to tie this up.   One thing that I did come across yesterday was a mention of Judith de piza Massiah marrying the young man from Scotland, name escapes me at the moment Robert ???  .  I wondered if she was an older sister of Rachel and died before marrying Robert and so Rachel was put next in line to be his wife.     Rachel was so young when she married I thought that maybe this could have been possible.
Hope to hear from you

Hi
I wondered if the man you were looking for could be Edward Maxwell Daniells 1798 - 1862

Dear Tricia,

tonight after many years I have just tracked down my Uncle's first wife, Francis Ellison Myers nee Fletcher.  She I think would be your husbands mother if I have read your post correctedly.   My uncle was 24 in the RAF during the Second World War when he lost his life.   My father and his brother were much much younger than their brother Julian Gilbert Keydell Myers but remember him with great affection.   My greatest hope is that there could be the slimmest possibility that Frances kept a photo of her first husband.  The Myers family broke up for several reasons and not one photo remains of Julian, memories are few because of his early death.   If you had any image of him you could scan and share or any stories (unlikely though that would be) I would love to here from you.   Twenty years ago I had always hoped that I might find Frances still alive, but that has of course grown ever slimmer and I see she died in 1983.
I would be so grateful if you could get in touch even if its just to acknowledge you have received this

best wishes
Clara
