« on: Tuesday 30 September 25 17:22 BST (UK)  »
We have a longcase clock by Owen Thomas of Ffestiniog (OT 1816-66). His two sons Owen Jones Thomas & Richard Bonner Thomas both became clockmakers. Bonner Thomas a significant clockmaker in Poerthmadog.
Is this OT your TO I wonder?

Hi
My FATHER wrote the book!
I am secretary of Blaenau History Society.
I have some of the names of those shown but by no means all of them. There are others who know a lot more about the hospital than I do, but I can put you in touch. There was a vigorous (albeit unsuccessful) attempt to save the hospital from closure a few years back.
Regards
Gareth Jones

Caernarvonshire / Re: Llyn y Meibion - "Llandwrog Uchaf"?
« on: Tuesday 03 September 19 11:57 BST (UK)  »
Further to my initial question, I have made quite a lot of local inquiries and it certainly does appear that Llyn-y-Meibion is now called GLYN-y-Meibion.
Thanks to everybody that helped. /// Diolch yn fawr iawn.
