You may also want to take a look at the Chiver pedigree in the Visitation of Wiltshire 1623, p37

I had a look at the Transcript at Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre (The Parish Registers and Bishops Transcripts of Sherston. Burials 1601-1837. Wiltshire Family History Society. 2012.). There was no David Miller/Millard etc or Sarah Miller buried at Sherston from 1760-1837.

Gertrude Emily Sandall was baptised on 05 Sep 1898 at Abingdon St Michael and All Angels, daughter of Agnes.

Agnes Jane Sandall was born 1864.  In the 1881 Census she is in Warborough, Berkshire.  Can't locate her at the moment in 1901 or 1911.  There is a possible emigration of Agnes to Canada in 1919.

- place of birth could be Birmingham.  I can't read the footnote unfortunately.

A Gertrude Annie Sandall was born in 1894 in the District of Aston (Birmingham)

It seems that the Gertrude Sandall/Sandell who went to Canada is not the Gertrude I am looking for.

Many thanks

Steve
