Hi again Janoz?  I'm looking at my grandmother's marriage certificate (on my mothers side).  It tells me that William Frederick Hopkins (age 31) married Agnes May Bushby (age 19) in 1914 in Taoroa (NZ).  That William's father was George Hopkins (farmer) and mother Adelaide Alicia Hopkins (nee Solomons) and Agnes' father was Thomas Bushby and mother Bessie Jane Bushby (nee Dawbin).

Agnes went on to have 4 daughters (Edith/Thelma/Patricia/Trimp?. Thelma Bateson (nee Hopkins) was my mother.  She died 2 years ago aged 94. She was the last one.  I'm sorry she's not here for you as she loved telling us about the family tree.  I'm afraid I'm not that much into it.  It was by accident that I came across this site.  Anyway, could you tell me where you fit into the family?

Regards

Reggie

The reference for the 1871 census entry was

RG10 201 folio 56

They were all born Middlesex the enumerator's " ditto was not continued for St. Pancras from the family above, only for Middlesex.
The unnamed child was a boy, plus there was one servant who was a horsekeeper - James Solomons 17 born Middlesex.

Marriages Jun 1867
HOPKINS  George     Clerkenwell  1b 855
Solomons  Adelaide Alicia     Clerkenwell  1b 855

Have you accessed the details of their fathers from the marriage certificate?
