My great, great grandmother was called Catherine Emily Buck. Her birth was registered in  December 1881 in St Georges,Hanover Square district & later census reports show her as being from Pimlico & Belgravia London.I am having great difficulty finding out who her parents & birth family were because she appears to have been orphaned & was living with cousins in 1891,Thor & Katherine Remington. By 1901 she was with an aunt & uncle Richard & Emily Simpson. The family she lived with worked as brass founders/moulders.
Catherine married Frederick Rabbitt from St Mary Cray,Kent in 1902.Has anyone come across any Bucks living in the Pimlico/Belgravia area of London at this time ?has anyone come across Catherine Buck in their research ? What do those of you with Gypsy heritage knowledge think-is it likely that she was from a gypsy family ?We have felt that there is Romany gypsy blood in the family but we have not yet been able to find any direct links or proof. Thanks for your help

I am interested in hearing from any descendents of the Rabbitt family from St Mary Cray,Orpington,Bromley,Abbey Wood area .In particular the direct descendents of Frederick Charles Rabbitt & Catherine Emily Rabbitt who married in 1902.Their children born between 1903 & 1925 were Lillian Eva,Edith Elsie,Winifred Alice,Frederick Henry,Sidney,Arthur,Frances,Kenneth & Dennis.

I think i may have traced my family back to one of the Richard Austwick's members have mentioned in previous posts. If my research is correct so far ,i am a Richard Austwick's(born around 1832) great great great granddaughter. Traced through my great grandfather Arthur Johnson who was the son of Emma Austwick.Emma Austwick was one of Richard Austwick's daughters & she was born in Heck,Snaith.
