Hi Heather

I saw your post online so have joined this site. My 5th Great Grand Parents were William TAYLOR and Ann THOMAS. There children, as far as I can see were:

William 1813
Nanny 1816
Henry 1818
Johanna 1820
John 1821
Jane 1823
Thomas (Tommy) 1826
Richard 1828
Mary 1830
Nicholas 1832
Sally (Salley) 1837

All born in St Just. There could be one or two more based on later census records, all I can say is it must have been cold there and she was a sturdy woman.

My link is with Nanny TAYLOR who married Henry CLARK in St Just (09 March 1840), who also had enough children to populate a small village. Their son Henry Taylor CLARK emigrated to South Australia and married a German immigrant called Caroline Emmalina GRIMM. Now in the 1870's they went and lived in NZ for a while before moving to Orange, NSW then Nymagee and back to Orange. Henry died in Orange in 1914 and Caroline died in Redfern, Sydney in 1915.

So that's the link, we are related so would love to compare notes if you are interested.

Regards

Brad
