Hi I am also looking for the Deegans but mine is a different branch .My grandfather Patrick was born in Wexford around 1860 and married in Dublin. As regards Deegans living in Abbey cottages I have seen them on 1939 register of electors as I thought they were related to me and I also have some certs that might be of interest for Deegan in Dublin tha i picked up along the wayHi Anncor, Have you any other information on the Patrick Deegan you are seeking? I may come across something that may be of interest to you as I carry on my search.
Do you think there may be something about the name at some stage? My family had a number of Rogers in the 1800s but by the early 1900s there wasn't one left.Very good point, will bare that in mind in future, Thank you Myluck.
Ha, maybe he didn't get on with his Dad !!Thank You Tara, I had noticed these while trawling through Church records, but never made note of them. After being at a dead end for the past 9mths, I am now getting more information than I had dreamed of.
