Hi I am also looking for the Deegans but mine is a different branch .My grandfather Patrick  was born in Wexford  around 1860 and married in Dublin. As regards Deegans living in Abbey cottages I have seen them on 1939 register of electors as I thought they were related to me and I also have some certs that might be of interest for Deegan in Dublin tha i picked up along the way

Hi Anncor, Have you any other information on the Patrick Deegan you are seeking? I may come across something that may be of interest to you as I carry on my search.
James Deegan.

Do you think there may be something about the name at some stage? My family had a number of Rogers in the 1800s but by the early 1900s there wasn't one left.

Very good point, will bare that in mind in future, Thank you Myluck.

Hi Bartleby, Are you TerryDee by any chance? anyway I hope not as I am in touch with TerryDee, and am hoping to have found another relative that I do not know of, My Grandfather and Grandmother were William Deegan and Alice Holloway No 2 Brennan's cottages. I am in shock as you have given me information that I could not find anywhere, now that I have more information I can proceed further with my research, Thank you, looking forward to hearing from you, Séamus(James) Deegan.
