Hello Annclare,  Thank you for the information, I already have the birth, baptismal and marriage records for Thomas and Honora, that's as far back as I have been able to go.  I am really interested in Thomas' father and mother William and Jane, and of course any extended family I can find.  Dave.

Hi Shane, Thomas and Honora were married in Holycross so I guess that's the Ballycahill I am looking for.  Dave.

Hi, I am trying to trace my Irish family tree, I have discovered that my G.G.Grandfather came from Ballycahill, he was Thomas Stapleton, born in Ballycahill in 1835.  His father was William Stapleton and his mother was Jane Stapleton and Thomas had a sister named Anne.  This is all I have found so far, can anyone help with information on this Ballycahill Stapleton family please.

Thomas Stapleton married Honora Carroll in 1860 and shortly afterwards they left Ireland and settled in Guernsey in the Channel Islands.  I have been able to trace the family in Guernsey but it is the Irish family pre-1860 I am having trouble tracing.  Any help would be appreciated.  Dave.
