« on: Monday 21 May 12 08:36 BST (UK)  »
Am interested in any Marriages or Burials at St Mary 1540-1600 for the above family (spelling varies greatly). Have managed to access Baptisms but altho registered with Wilts OPC I cannot access their website. I notice that others have similar problems.
Thanking you in anticipation

Yes I have that, it's the Lyndhurst connection that I'm trying to fathom. My guess is that their father, John, came from there & returned maybe because he was ill & became dependent on the parish. It would explain the girls' status.

Looking for baptism & death of John Stephens born about 1821, died before 1851. Also info re his parents? Father was James (occupation Bailiff), died before 1844. Also baptism of daughter, Emily, born about 1847 (St Michael 12 Sep?).

No, they are basically administrations. The earlier is interesting for its use of 'dog' latin.

Thanks Nell
Those are the guys. I had baptisms for John Jnr, George, marriage for John & Frances plus burials  from IoW Record Office. The wills are new inf & give an occupation. Great news but a pity the records only start 1680.
