« on: Friday 31 August 12 13:03 BST (UK)  »
I have a death cert. which turned out to be the wrong one. (I bought it several years ago)

Ann Evans (spinster) aged 76 in 1907 lived in Ross.

E. Andrew (nephew) of the Crofts, Ross in attendance.

If you want cert. let me know.

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Marriage Certificate

I have a marriage form 1851 and the church is St. Mark's (reg. district of Clerkenwell - the couple are living on Northampton Road and the County is Middlesex).

I can't read the area that follows the Parish Church of St. Mark's..........any ideas?

I agree, it's all so easy when an address is suggested.

OK I looked over it and it could be Abbey leix Queens County....I hadn't thought of the latter as I thought it would of been Laois in 1933.

Ireland / Birth Certificate entry
« on: Tuesday 12 June 12 11:10 BST (UK)  »
I am wellused to reading bmd certificates and in time I usually can get  most of an entry  with poor writing.

However, the latest one is difficult in one part.

The child and mother (no father reg'd) is easy enough but under the entry for Mother's former name is what looks like the following-

ATHEY / ABBEY SEI-R AND UNDER THAT LUCAN/DUCAN/DUCAS COURT or similar.

The entry is from 1933 City of Dublin child born at the Coombe.

Would such an entry be made only if the mother was under age or some social problem?

Ive never come across it before.

Fermanagh / Methodist records
« on: Wednesday 11 April 12 14:47 BST (UK)  »
Does anyone know a person who offers look ups for Fermanagh methodist records?

I can offer look ups in other areas of Ireland in return.

Thanks.

There's a civil reg. for a marriage (Thomas Gordon) in the reg. dist. of Dundalk 1907 but at this stage I feel I'm talking to myself. :)
