My wife descends from John B's son John Tasker Evans (1838-1890).  He was the Mayor of Stafford in 1881.  I've had no joy finding anything more about John Bartholomew Evans other than census details 1841, 1851 & 1861.

Happy to compare notes.

Hi,
My Grandmother owned the sweet shop which was on the corner of Tennant street, Number 20 .
But over the years my relatives on both sides lived in houses on Tennant Street.

I have stumbled across this by chance and am so excited - Emily Ada Kilbey, Edwin Coldrick is my Great Great grand father
i have been researching the family for my mother this past year since Dad died. My mother was born a coldrick.
Please find a way of getting more info to me- This is amazing !!!
