Dear Kanskar,
I have a photograph of the wedding of Ivo and Annie. There are about 10 family members in the photo, but aside from Annie and Ivo, we're not sure who's who in the picture. Maybe your wife's great-great grandmother is one of them. I'd like to share the photo with you, but I can't seem to be able to attach images to my posts. Probably because I am new to rootschat?

Maybe you can help me with this question: Annie had a brother called James, and three sisters: Martha, Jane and ... ? Do you know the name of the third sister?

Hi Kanskar,
During WWI they went to England for a few years. Her son was born there in 1915. He will be 97 soon.
Annie and her husband Ivo both worked for an English family that owned a castle in Belgium. They first met at the castle. She worked as a nanny/cook and he started as one of the stableboys. When the horses were replaced by cars, he became the family's chauffeur.
I'm one of Annie's great-grandchildren. Are you a relative?

Annie Pinnell married Ivo Van den Driessche and they moved to Belgium. She died in Zwijnaarde in 1975 (at the age of a 100 years). Her son is still alive.
