Hi Keziah
Thanks for your added input some other bits that I didn't know about the Mayhews
Luckily I found someone last night who had taken notes from the Mendham fiches on the Barber/Mayhews which gave me a wealth of information and he sent me a copy of William Barbers last and final testament which confirmed so much.

Thank you Keziah well appreciated 8)

I wonder if anyone can help I would like to find any baptism records for my third great grandmother Mary from the 1841 census she was born about 1785 in Bungay Suffolk
She at some time married William Barber who was born about 1780 in Metfield Suffolk it would be great to clarify the date of the marriage

Thanks

Who is Eveline and John?

Arthur Reginald I think is adopted maybe conscience playing some part he is the same age as my father but unsure really.

I will check out the deaths in Newcastle

Yes as I said at some stage he was in a workhouse before he married my mother he was a miner in Barnsley

Thanks again
