Hi Shelly,
It's all correct by you until the wedding, but no sign of either Isaac or Mary Ellen Andrew after this point, anywhere in the world. It's surprising they are not in Jersey City or in any census in the USA or Canada after their wedding
I have not found them in any UK Census after 1874 either, well we only have a census every 10yrs from 1841 right up to 1921
Census is released every 100yrs In the UK, so 1921 census is the last one.

United States of America / Isaac & Mary Ellen Andrew
« on: Friday 23 August 24 15:39 BST (UK)  »
Hi Everyone, the biggest brick wall in my Family Tree is my G/Grandfather Isaac Andrew born Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire. who after the death of his daughter & wife Esther Ann in 1868, left his other two children with Grandparents, George & Barbara Mann Harper, and youngest with his Uncle John Wilkinson Andrew, who had a painter/decorating business in Cottingham, Yorkshire.
Isaac left the UK in approx 1872 and left for the USA.
Isaac married in Jersey City on the 30.08.1874 to Mary Ellen Armstrong, who was born 1846, she was a widow, former name (Sweeny) fathers name was Thomas Sweeny may have different spellings of surname.

After 24yrs searching, i have never found either Isaac or his wife Mary Ellen.  He must be somewhere but alas, i have been unable to find any record in America/Canada or the rest of the world.

If anyone could help me in this search, it would be greatly appreciated as time is running out.

I have all the records up to the fact, he was supposed to turn up in court in Kingston upon Hull in 1871.   So it must be after 1871, he left for the US.
He brought a case against he women who is supposed to have stolen a Gold Sovereign, but the family was notorious in Hull, and the women who he was accusing, was a well known person and she had previously just returned from prison, after serving a sentence for manslaughter.

I am 77yrs of age in October, and would love to find any record of both of them anywhere
Thanking you in advance, ever hopeful,
John P Andrew

My wife has found the article and it looks as though it could be the name Illingworth, so my
wife Anne has written down the article and is going to search for this name., seemingly it could be an illigitimate child May Illingworth, we will see
Thank you very much,
John

Hi Maddy52,
Many thanks for your reply, sad old me ever give it a thought about papers, which is what i am going to search for now.  To be honest the Newspapers was the last thing i thought would reveal an answer to my query.
Just need someone to get my brain working.
Many Thanks, John

Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction if/or how I can or cannnot find information on a relative "Unknown" possibly a member of my wife's family, surname, (ROLLINSON) various spellings, Bradford, West Yorshire, who was a member of Will Sugdens" "Versatile Pierrot's", and earlier in, "The Jolly Juveniles" no idea of the years, possibly c1920s-c1950s.
Thank you in advance
