 Hi, Your inquiry is an old one. but i have been researching john Huet as he married a relie of mine after Agnes died, He wasted no time marrying again as he needed someone to care for his children,poor Sarah Ann Atwell was only 18. but went on to give him another 10 children.I have found Agnes parents to be James Skinner& Mary Cook.Iff you want more info  contact me. thanks, have all that, but would like to go back further, no one seems to have any thing on either one. there is confusion over elizabeth and her sister mary, are they from glasgow as their trial states or irish as mary claimed. they were my grt/ grt/ grandparents. cheers. helen.

am researching my ancestor john/james baylis, who was trasported on the ship manluis to tasmania in 1830. his trial transcripts show he was living in islington, but was born in cheltenham 1807/1809. he was caught stealing plates and his brothers wife is mentioned in the report as both martha and charlotte. iff anyone has some information on the baylis from those areas i would appreciate it. the only other clue is a christening record for john bailiss 6 dec. 1807 in cheltenham, gloucester. thank you. helen.

james paisley, born circa 1806,lived in hobart,tas. married elizabeth, [bigamist on her part] 3 daughters, isabella, catherine,[my gr/grandmother married to james swann and james peck]and ?. he later married elizabeth samson, she 19, he 70. a son ernest born 2yrs later.does any one know of them or nationality ., cheers helen.:)

thank you all for the extra info.his son tasman,[my grandfather] kept up the family tradition,lol. no wonder they never mentioned the ancestors.

i :)i have just found out i am the great/great grandaughter of peggy [the elder] who married mathew eastman. via her son james who died in hobart 1867 after escaping from goal.i have noticed some older posts and would like any info on her or the family.
