Hi Julia,

Thanks for the information. This is a long story. The crash of BZ 938 "Wottawitch has been extensively researched. Contact has been made with all the survivors (two now deceased) and others relatives except for Woodage and Snelling. By the way my uncle was on that flight.
I visited the crash site in Jan 2010 the first relative of any of the crew to ever have visited the site. I am fascinated that Dereck's brother is still alive and I would love to make contact. You can see a doco of my visit on the net. I don't know how to attach a link but Google, Wottawitch ppt presentation and you will have a good idea of the research to date. Now I need to find any relatives of Snelling. Have put out a request but nothing to date. Please let me know what info you might want and will endeavour to get it too you

Many thanks for your contact also Vicwinann. It has been most helpful. I do have a disc of my visit which is better than the net download if you were interested.

Regards
Glen

Hi Vicwinann,

Thanks for your help. I checked BMD and which confirms your info. My details come from the registry at the Rangoon war cemetery. Berkshire could well have been where they lived at time of his death. I'm not a genealogist so am new to this. Can you make suggestions how I may persue my search

Glen
