You are indeed a direct descendent of the French Huguenots,Anthony Du Cruzat of whom all Crossetts are descendents of, fled the French Revolution because of the persecution of the Protestant Huguenots,some came to Scotland and others to the North Of Ireland where my family are from so all Crossetts are related through Anthony who  changed  through time his surname Du Cruzat to our name Crossett.

Hi my Great Grandfather Joseph Crossett born 1861,Grandfather George 1886,Great Uncle John 1882 were born in Scotland and the family beleives one of the three was involved with Albion Rovers Fc they also had a Sister Eliza 1884,you also called my Greatmother Sarah 1863 but her Maiden name was Nobbs,Great Grandfather Joseph and  Great Grandmother  Sarah came from Cookstown,County Tyrone, Northern Ireland originally where they returned 1901 and had a further 3 Sons and 3 Daughters.A lot of similars here is it possibley the same family.John Crossett.
