I believed from my family history great aunties etc. that John Briggs wife was Kate Divett not 'Duiett'?  However, I have not seen any source documents with her name on it to verify that.

Hi I am the great great grandaughter of George Briggs & Ellen McManus if you are still on email I would love to share family history. Plus that photo you have of a young Ellen, I just compared it to a photo I have of her not long before she died and you can see the resemblence.

Anyway I hope you are still out there given your last email was some years ago.
