James Thomas is my G,G,G,Grandfather and Mary Daly is my G.G.G.Grandmother, yjey did quite well for themselves in Australia, they even founded a town in the snowy mountains "Lobs Hole". The reason I am still trying to find out more is I would like to see how far I can get back, I tooo am nosey.

Wow ! T mo THANKS for your time, I have made an error it was THOMAS, James not THOMAS, William (talk about visiting the sins of the father upon the son) I was lead to believe he got LIFE at West Riding Azzise, Yorkshire also he was tried with two others WATERWORTH, Robert and JOHNSON, William all receiving the same penalty. As to DALY ( DALEY ), Mary she was supposed to have been 20yrs old (but lots of women lie about their age) she was tried for stealing clothes at Cork Court, Cork Co.

Hi, I am hoping someone may be able to direct me to court (azzise?) records for convicts transported to Australia. Cork, Ireland (DALY, Mary) and West Riding. Yorkshire, England (THOMAS, William) are my particular intrests at the moment.
