Evening Chris
Many thanks for your reply. Yes I did email St Peters and St Paul's. Unfortunately they replied they had no Payne's in there registers. Maybe I could try them again giving the dates you have find this may help them looking through there records Do you know if Shorne has their own cemetery or is Gravesend the only cemetery for that area.
Once again appreciate your help.

Warmest regards
Pam

Thanks Shaun. Not sure if Georges family lived there either as in the 1841 census they were living in Windmill Row.

Afternoon

Is someone able to help me or guide me to how to find a person that died in Maidstone. The person I'm trying to find is George Bennett who died on the 9th April 1826 in Maidstone. I'm wanting to know if George is the son of my 4xgreatgrandparents Henry & Harriett Bennett. George was born 17 February 1822. This information I have is from Maidstone All Saints burials 1824-1851. Have spent the afternoon searching all burial websites with them sending me around in cycles. Is some kind person able to tell me were I can obtain this information from to enable me to verify I have a connection with this person. I appreciate any help or advise given. Thanks Pamela  :(

New Zealand Completed Requests / Re: WHERE COULD SHE BE
« on: Saturday 07 January 12 06:30 GMT (UK)  »
Hi Lucy
Sorry to have taken so long in replying. Due a family commitment I have been unable to reply to reply to my emails. Am finally catching up now. In regard to my Emily Bennett I sent away for the marriage certificate for Emily Bennett and Thomas Landens. Am unsure if its the correct marriage. On the certificate Emily's age is 24 the mariage took place un 1856 which makes Emily's birth year 1832. My Emily was born 1829. Is the age always correct on the certificate. Everything else on the certificate is correct. What are your thoughts on this.

Many thanks
Pam

Hi

I see a posting has just been made on one of your other threads (England - General board) re: a marriage of a likely Emily BENNETT to a Thomas LANDING - 1856.

Perhaps you could let us know if this was the person you were seeking.   :)

[In the meantime a quick search at the Immigration/Passenger lists for New Zealand (from 1855) - available for free viewing at Familysearch -  doesn't reveal an Emily with a birth year close to 1829. ]
