Hello, i am looking for a William Hobbs who was born in Milton Abbot between 1815-1817. I know little else except that his father was also called William Hobbs. He briefly lived in Jersey (1841) and then moved to Portbail, France with his wife Lucie leblond. i wonder if anyone could help me trace his  parents and/or siblings? any help would be appreciated, thanks vicky

Hello i wonder if anyone could help me. i am looking for a relative of mine born in jersey in 1891. she was born anna corley, married to become anna mace and then (possibly) married again to become a balston. i know she was alive upto 1940 as she was evacuated to scotland with her children during the occupation. she applied to return after the war but whether she did not, i dont know. the trail seems to go cold there. i cannot find put what happened to her. did she return or stay in scotland? when did she die and where was she buried? if anyone knows anything apart her after 1940, i would very much appreciate it, many thanks vicky

Hello, i have a relative who was born in Portbail, France in 1884. His father was English but i know nothing of his birth place or spouse? The fathers name was Willaim Hobbs. His son was Peter Hobbs, or maybe Pierre Hobbs. does anyone know how i could acquire his birth certificate or information of his birth. Peter later moved to Jersey where he set up home, but i have little information on his family before 1884? any help as to how to get his birth details or anyone with knowledge of the Hobbs family would be much appreciated. thanks vicky
