I have a Matthew Barnard Harvey mar to a Mary Whittle in my husbands family tree. Also noticed various books and court cases. Also article about John Whittle Harvey arrived in Quebec Canada in June 1835 & opening a bank where he succeded in robbing the people of Quebec of considerable amount.
Matthew Barnard Harvey & Mary Whittle had a daughter who my husband is decended from.
Elizabeth Whittle Harvey who mar 5 April 1806 Emmanual Reeves. Their marriage was announced in La Belle Magazine.

1.Martha Moody Whittle Reeves mar. Hon. John Hunter Patterson on 27 Nov. 1835 Cawood. Tasmania Australia
2.Matthew Barnard Harvey Reeves
3.Rebecca Eliza Whittle Reeves
4. Thomas Reeves
5. Mary Ann Reeves b. 1820 mar 27 Sept 1849 Spalding Lincolnshire to a Robinson Cocks b. 1823 they arrived in Australia in early 1850s at the request of John Hunter Patterson & his wife Martha.
I have been looking to see if other members of the family had gone out to Australia in the early years. as Martha seems to have been in Tasmania by herself living with the Marzetti family prior to her marriage.
