Many thanks for the overwhelming responses! Firstly, the religion is Presbyterian. William (1845?-1929) emigrated to NZ not Australia (a common misconception) He married Elizabeth McGee of Drumnagee in 1875. Their children were Margaret Jane, Matilda Gregg, Mary, David, James McGee, William & Eliza. My wife is descended from James McGee Sloan.
The 1851 census fragment also shows another Sloan family in Ballycregagh William aged 78, Esther 75, James (son) 31, Elizabeth (his wife married 1850) & William 11(nephew). I do not know if there is any relationship with our Sloan family. The only other information I have is that David Sloan's farm was leased from a William Cleary (Griffiths Valuation).
