That is brilliant. I will get together what I have and send over to you in the next few days.
Do you have more on Patrick. I have nothing more than he was born in Ireland.

Thankyou

We are not 100% certain but we have found two brothers getting married there at a young age so believe he may have done?

The tree if on ancestry is mine.

We know that he was born in Mount Nebo from an old family letter. He had a son called George Stephen Fannigan. That is all really.

Does anyone have any information on Stephen (Steven) Fannigan, born 1820 in Mount Nebo?

He married Cornellia Daniell in Dublin in 1844 and moved to India.

Would love to know why he travelled so far from Ireland?

Thanks for help

Such a confusing story

Surely that would make George a bigamist (unless they divorced) as he remarried in 1864 it looks like?

Thank you for the replies,

Jennifer you know lots on the family do you have them in your family tree?

I have found that Augusta Underwood applied for a passport in 1855 so I wonder if she travelled abroad and died. My ancestry subscription only has travel records leaving the UK from 1890, is there any other records you know of to trace before this date?

Thank you

Cara
