Hallo, I expect you have the facts you were looking for by now. Anyway I knew Fr Collier well as I was taught by him in the early fifties. It was a very small school at Bontddu N.Wales for boys who had the general intention of becoming priests. I liked him very much as he had a love of music and enjoyed walking in the Welsh countryside, a pastime I have enjoyed until this day. I had an irrational grievance against him as he once told me I was seeing too much of a Father X - another teacher at the school. I left shortly after this incident and I thought he should have taken direct action against this priest who was abusing pupils. I met him once more in later life at Lee on the Solent where he was the parish priest by which time he was rather deaf and I didn't raise the subject again. I owe a lot to him for a love of Latin,Greek,Music and Walking! May he rest in peace. Basil
