Hi, has anyone come across Mary Ann Russell born Leicester in 1842, or she maybe married and  therefore Mary Ann Taylor her husband was John, very common I
know.
She will possibly be living in the Manchester area. She was on the 1861 census in Leicester.

I would much appreciate finding her as she died in 1881 having married a second husband Charles Fox.

Hello,
I have looked in the Parish Regs. for Urswick 1696--1837 and I could only find an entry for Miles son of Wm. Stable, waller and Jane of LU (Little Urswick) Miles born March 13th baptised April 6th 1806. This couple did have more children but this was the only Miles.

There was another family named Stable living at Great Urswick, they were Richard and wife Margaret.

I have been searching for Mary Ann Russell on the 1871 census, she was born in Leicester in 1842, but I can't find her in Leicester, I know she had a sister living in Manchester, Hulme district about 1871. 
Mary Ann had a daughter Annie Russell Taylor born 1875 in Chorlton on Medlock and the father's name on the birth certificate was John Taylor, I haven't found the marriage yet.
Mary Ann died in 1881 by that time she had been widowed and remarried to a Charles Fox and had two more children Bertha and Frederick Fox.
If anyone comes across Mary Ann on the 1871 census I would be very grateful.

Hi Sue, the Mary Ann Russell I am looking for was born 1842 in Leicester, her parents were John Russell born abt 1797 and Ann Halford, she did have a brother Isaac b.1838. Mary Ann's 1st hus. was a John Taylor, can't find their marriage, she died in 1881 at Chorlton upon Medlock, LAN. after marrying again to a Charles Fox.  Hope this helps.

Has anyone come across Mary Robertson Wemyss on the 1891 census, born 1857 in Scotland, her address on marriage cert. in 1892 was 1 Adventure Place either Shelton or Hanley.  She married George Johnson. Much appreciated.

Is anyone researching the Russell family of Leicester, father John. I'm looking for the baptism of Mary Ann Russell registered in the June quarter 1842. She died in Chorlton in 1881. thanks, margaret.
