London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Re: 1841 Census St. Paul, Shadwell
« on: Saturday 05 March 22 21:53 GMT (UK)  »
My William Bragg was living with his daughter Elizabeth, her husband John Garon and their children in 1841 and thanks to your question, I went back and found that census record on Find My Past.  They were living in Prittlewell, Essex.  Again, Thanks for your question :)

Thank you.  The information on the LDS website was posted by myself and was from a family bible record.  Interestingly, it did not have the twins, David and Catherin born 11 Apr 1875 so I shall have to look at that.  Regards, Jackie

Hi:  Thanks for your help.  That is the wrong one.  I have an old journal that gives me information on her and those are not her parents.  The LDS site is good information but not always accurate, definitly a place to get started.  Thanks again, Jackie

I used ancestry.com and looked under all of the census records in England.  I think the problem must be that they don't have all of the Middlesex records because other names I have looked for do not appear for the 1851 census either.  Thanks again for thinking of me, Jackie

Essex Completed Lookup Requests / Huttley of Hawkwell,Essex before 1815
« on: Tuesday 25 July 06 18:25 BST (UK)  »
William Huttley, will of 1815 Hawkwell, Essex, spoke of wife Isabella (Bragg) and mother Sarah. Abstracts of examination, 1788, mentions Samuel Hutley, wife Sarah Green and son William.  Samuel served in husbandry, Robt Tabrum of Canewdon.  Samuel and Sarah were married 1786 June 12 in Hawkwell. Will of William Redgrave, Hawkwell, 1810 mentions wife, Sarah, "her" daughter Sarah Hutley of Canewdon and Sarah Hutley's eldest son, William.  William Huttley (will 1815) had a son William Redgrave Huttley.  If anyone could shed additional light on either of these families Huttley, Redgrave or Green, it would be greatly appreciated.  Jackie

Essex Completed Lookup Requests / Re: Rochford confusion - Huttley

Hi:  Thanks for the advice.  I have looked at all of the Parish Records available through familysearch and Ancestry.com.  and through the Essex Record office up until about 5 years ago.  Haven't tried since then.  Are there additional parish records?   If so, do you have access?  If so, I shall try and think of more specific questions.  Thanks Jackie
