Hi,
I lived at 80 Broadmere drive from 1947 until 1952. from being 2  until 7 years old.
Our house was adjacent to the park, therefore I considered the whole of the
park to be my garden.

We had a " nissen hut " type garden shed.

My parents name was Woodier and we lived next to mrs Swift who had 2 sons.
The house opposite, probably 79 or 81, had a little girl who suffered from
scarlet fever.

I attended St. Hilda's School in Prestwich and I am told that I decided to walk home alone at the age of four. The road was obviously not so busy in those days.

The only other thing of note that I can remember  was that a large green lorry with
the logo " Digger Tobacco " was frequently parked nearby. I recall no cars.

Ref 'Maureen 720 '15 May 2011.  I remember Doctor MacCallum and I thought it was strange that he lived in a house with 2 floors. I believe he had a son named Sandy.
