Europe / Help with translation from Polish to English

I was hoping someone could assist with translating the attached extract of three family members from the Ledger listing in handwriting persons registered at the Polish consulate in Shanghai, 1934-1941. I'd be keen to know what all the columns descriptions are and then what is written for each family member.

Thank you so much!

Europe / Polish Geneology (Brozda) - Surname: Konchalska
« on: Sunday 15 June 14 02:00 BST (UK)  »
Hello. I am  hoping someone might be able to assist with understanding how to locate records in Poland.  I'm looking for information on the Konchalska and Osial families.

Kazimiera Konchalska was born 1885 just outside Warsaw, Poland. I understand she was born of the landed gentry owning farms and a mill.  It is said that when she was 16 she met an illiterate peasant named Jan Osial.  Kazimiera’s parents were impressed by his manners and ambition and gave their consent to their wedding.   I just learned one of her daughters, Lucja Osial (b. 1906 d. 1978 in NYC), told US immigration in 1957 that she was born in Brozda, Poland though I've been unable to locate Brozda on a map?

The family moved to Vladivostok, Russia as their fourth daughter was born there in 1918.  I understand Jan Osial joined the Russian army though ended up moving the family to Japan sometime during the 1920's.  Are there any passenger records for Poles departing or returning to Poland?

I would be keen to learn how to search for information on the Konchalska family in Poland and how to obtain birth certificates etc for the family?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Canada / William Albert Moses b. 1903
« on: Friday 30 May 14 18:37 BST (UK)  »
I was hoping someone could help locate records in respect to William Albert Moses who was born 22/12/1903 in Kobe, Japan to English parents, Albert Edgar Moses and Elizabeth Ann James.

William departed Kobe, Japan on 16/02/1927 and arrived in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on 3/03/1927.  The ship record indicated he was to study in Canada though unsure if he stayed on and settled there or returned to Japan or England.  I've been unable to locate any additional records.

If anyone can assist that would be amazing!
Thank you!

Armed Forces / Mercantile Marine, S.S. 'Rona': Capatain Albert Edgar Moses
« on: Friday 30 May 14 18:28 BST (UK)  »
I was hoping someone can assist with locating records for Capatain Albert Edgar Moses, who died 25 November 1918 and is buried at Port Said War Memorial.

I have hit a dead end in trying to locate his service record or any record of his time with the Mercantile Marines. However the only record I have found is on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

Any assistance would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you!

Europe / Poland - Jan Osial & Kazimiera Konchalska
« on: Friday 30 May 14 17:36 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for information on my 2nd great grand parents, Jan Osial and Kazimiera Konchalska who were born just outside Warsaw, Poland approx 1880-1885.  I would be keen to learn more of their Polish backgound and whether any death records can be located for Jan Osial.

From what I have found out from family, Kazimiera Konchalska (b. approx 1885 – just outside Warsaw, Poland d. 1957 – Wrexham, Wales) was born of the landed gentry owning farms and a mill.  It is said that when she was 16 she met an illiterate peasant named Jan Osial (b. Uknown d. Unknown). Kazimiera’s parents were impressed by his manners and ambition and gave their consent to the wedding.

Jan and Kazimiera Osial had four daughters, Lucja (Lucia – b. 1906 d. 1978 – New York), Jozefa (Josephine – b. 1908 d. Unknown), Wiktorja (Victoria Emily - b. 1911 d. 2002 Adelaide, South Australia)  and XXXX (b. 1918 - current).

I understand Jan Osial was an entrepreneur and moved the family to Vladivostok, Russia. Sometime in the early 1920’s the family moved to Japan where he listed himself as a cloth merchant.  They settled in Japan for some time as my great grandmother, Victoria, married an english man and settled there until his death in 1938.

Any help with locating records of Jan Osial and Kazimiera Konchalska would be really helpful.

Thank you!

Australia / Re: Ronald Sydney Moses (Adelaide, South Australia)

I can't see a David MOSES/Pauline MOSES divorce file on the index for surviving divorce papers to 1970 in NSW
http://investigator.records.nsw.gov.au/Search.aspx

I searched using -  divorce moses

I see that his second wife was back in NSW living with her parents in 1963.  According to your tree there was a daughter to her relationship with David and then she has a daughter and a son in later relationship.
David Edward MOSES is not be the grandfather of the daughter and son in Pauline's second relationship.

So now you have that David E married 1950, 1956, 1965 and again in 1986 - four marriages ::)  Have you found any divorces ;)  Sorry couldn't resist that after the bigamy charges in WA?

Cheers
Cando

Cando - Do you know if there is an Investgator Records for each state and possibly equivalent in NZ? Just trying to think of other ways to locate information on the Moses family.  Thanks :-)

I have just been advised Ronald S Moses changed his surname to Gordon.  I located a record in a site indicating his obituary is listed in the Advertiser in 2011.  Can someone assist with providing a copy of the transcript and any other records under Ronald Sydeney Gordon.

Thanks!
