Hi, My husband is descended from Alexander McLure(his grandfather), son of John Rankin McLure etc and I am gathering information on the preceding generations. Stuck on the John McLure who was married to Sarah Collins. Would be grateful for help on this?

I am trying to track William Martinholm, living in Avondale in the mid 18th century. I believe he had a son called James, and probably may other children. any help would be good.
