Hello Lisa,

I hadn't seen the photo.  It sure was a mess and understandable that it was re-developed as a Park/playground.  Thanks very much.  Shall keep it with all the other family info.

Hi Valda,
Thanks for that information.  Have found the administration of Richard Dobinson (Dolinson). A lesson learnt - always try alternative spelling.

Thanks ciderdrinker, Already have Sarah's Will, and only today found the Allegation of Richard and Sarah.  I believe findmypast has a death date of 1891 and a Will for Richard, but as I don't subscribe to it I can't access the information.
Will check the nationalarchives site.

Richard Dobinson b. 1741, m. (1) Abigail 1762 (2) Sarah 1776. Possibly had military background. Two children b. 1773 & 1775 at Pensioners Army Hospital, Chelsea.  Would he have been employed there in some capacity? Both wives died at Chelsea as did Richard. Sarah was Usher of the Hall at the Royal Hospital before she died.  Would they all have been buried in the Hospital Cemetery and if so is there any way to access that information, short of a visit, and it's a long way from Australia.  Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Tinam,
We have that enrtry.  Some research done many years ago listed her as Mary Sarah, and another as Mary a.k.a. Sarah, so take your pick.  The s.  sp. on the record could be "same" refering to the parish and sp. "spinster."
I agree the I.G.I. is not always a reliable source of information
Thanks again,
auntyjojo.
