Looking for information on a Johanna Gould nee Quinn.   Johanna was my g.grandmother's sister and she married in SA. My g.grandmother's  name was Amelia Casey (nee Quinn).  Amelia married James Casey in Burra  SA in 1876.  They moved to Williamstown Victoria and Amelia died aged 31 after giving birth to her 9th child.  The 2 youngest children were taken back to SA by her sisters.  One of these sisters was Johanna Gould.  Any information re Johanna would be appreciated.

Many thanks, Limneach.  Will follow it up.  We thought that our GGreats might have come from Rathborney and from your information looks as though it could be right.  Thanks again.

Hello CMA,
How wonderful to hear from you.  In my post way back in 2006 I said that James Casey and Bridget Davoren were my g.grandparents but they were my gg. same as you.  My g.grandfather was James Davoren Casey who came to Australia in the early 1870s.  He was one of the younger children of James and Bridget I think and he married Amelia Quinn in Burra South Australia in 1876.   My grandmother was Bridget Rose Casey, eldest  child of James and Emily. Hope to hear from you soon.

Does anyone have any information on the surname Davoren.  My g.grandfather James Casey married Bridget Davoren.   Family history says they were from County Clare.  I am trying to find their marriage to see how many children there were.

Thanks Jorose,
Could anyone tell me how I go about getting a certificate for William Vivian and Mary Jane Cornelius' marriage in Parish of Redruth .  On line would be preferable as it would be quicker than sending snail mail from here in Australia.

Thanks for your information.  Yes Mary could have been Jane I suppose as William married married Mary Jane Cornelius in Redruth according to her death certificate around 1852.  William and Mary Jane both died in Australia.  William in 1887 and Mary Jane in 1877.  She was 45 and he was 57 at the time of death.

Help please.
I am looking for a birth record for William Vivian born circa 1829.  I can't find him on the census of 1841.  On his death certificate his parent's names were given as James Vivian and Mary Vivian.  Where do I look?
