Gloucestershire Lookup Requests / Re: Haines family - Chipping Campden

Wow - Not only for the information which is a real help but also because we live in Redditch. I will try and send you a direct message with my contact details; please let me know if you have not received it by tonight and I will try again.

Out of interest I am not sure that Peter was at the Bell in 1841; the census just say's he was a farmer. The Badsey.net website says he was at the Bell in School Lane but I cannot see where that comes from. I  am on Ancestor.co.uk but it is not much help.

Regards

Doug

Hi,

Pauline's line from Peter is: - William - Joseph - Annie (Pauline's Mother); How about you; Pauline does not have many Haines relatives and was very pleased to see your post.

We met the man who owns the building and he was took us round. Its now in two parts but it was exciting for Pauline to stand where Peter lived - and worked. We are trying to find a photo of the Bell. He must have farmed the land at the back of the pub which is now the Wheatsheaf car park.

I have just seen your previous post - so you are descended from Peter's eldest son John.

Doug
