Hello again Susan,
I have tried twice to contact you privately  first through my own email and then through this site. Both times the message would not go through. As I am new to this site I do not know what the problem is. I will try again later. Am happy to share any further family info. with you should you need it. Judith

Hello Susan, yes it is interesting that jessie, annie and henry all had association with Manatoba. The tract of land that Henry mortaged was described  "parcel or tract of land being in Manatoba north east quarter of section 4, in township 4, and range 16 west of the principal meridian". I dont know if this corresponds with Lowe Farm that you are interested in but if it does it may be a clue.. I know that Henry lost this in 1893, I dont know why, it was a sad year for the family as both his parents Henry and Sarah died that year within months of each other.
My interest in this was that my own brother Henry Brian had a passion for the family history and had done research in the hope of publishing a family chronicle. We lost him in 2002 to cardiac arrest and since then the project has been dormant. Lately I have tried to tie up some loose ends hence the search for Jessie Thomasine whom we had lost trace of after the 1881 census. Your husband is my 2nd cousin. If you know of anyone in the family over there that would have further information about Jessie I would appreciate the contact details. Bye for now, Judith

Hi there, thank you for getting back to me. Regarding John Lowe of Warrington, he is not of our direct line but maybe a distant cousin. Francis Lowe married Ann Leek in 1772 they had 3 daughters
1.  thomiasin Lowe (1772 Cheadle Stafford England.2.  Elizabeth Lowe 1774(same place) 3.  Ann Lowe 1776(same)and one son Thomas Lowe1783 also Cheadle Stafford England.
Thomas married twice. First wife Mary Armshaw 1802 had a son Francis Armshaw Lowe 1803 Cheadle. Second wife Mary Ann Harvey 1806. Thomas and Mary had 11 sons  and one daughter. I have their information.Henry was the ninth child born 18th Sept.1825 Norbury and Roston Derby England. There were two sons called John the first born1809 but died 1816. The second John was the last child born 1830 in Quarrington Lincolnshire. He became an eminent doctor who treated the prince of Wales when he was laid low with typhoid fever.
Henry married Sarah Strapps in 1869 and became a farmer in Boston, lived at Moat House in old Leake ( see 1881 british census). Regards Judith.

HI, Jessie Thomasine was my grandfathers sister. He was Henry Harvey Lowe b. 1866 old Leake Lincolnshire England, son of Henry and sarah. She had a sister Annie Mary who married Spencer Percival, for a short time lived in Manatoba and in 1902 established a home on Pender Island where she lived until her death in 1934. Henry, my grandfather did put down a deposit on a large tract of land in Manatoba but could not raise the entire sum so it was forfeit. He came to Australia in 1901 with his wife Edith nee Fox and 5yr, old daughter Gladys. After that  the couple had two more daughters Doris and Edyth. My father Thomas Harvey b. 1909 .
I have been trying to trace Jessie Thomasine for a long time and only recently discovered she had married Herbert Cunningham and also went to Canada. Would love to know more about her life etc. and my relatives in Canada. Would you have a picture of her? Keep contact please. Yours Judith.
