« on: Sunday 16 October 11 12:05 BST (UK)  »
Hi Jacques

Thanks so much for searching for me, I am not convinced these are the Palmers I am looking for, I know it is quite difficult when it seems that nearly the whole area are Palmers... :-\

I think that Daniel will be the link age about 6 in 1841.

I appreciate your help, thank you..  :)

Hi Cardiff

Yes I have her on son Edwin's birth cert 1850.

1851 shows three children Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Edwin. Shows Clayhanger as place of birth for Ann and Mary Ann. Others Bridgwater.

Husband Henry's Taylor line seem to be Bridgwater ( think I have found a bapt for him in 1822, son of James and Ann, parish Bridgwater), he was a shoemaker..

Yes I was looking around 1840 for a marriage, have been looking for years but no luck, makes me wonder if they were married ???  ::)

any ideas where else to search??

cheers

Thank you so much for your help.  I think this is them.. I found a marriage for a James Palmer and Mary Ann Palmer - cousins perhaps? 27.12.1841, , his father John, her's Joseph... and it stated him as widower..
I wonder if Jas and Daniel in 1851 census were from his first marriage? ..I will try to look at 1841 for this but I am finding that Genes Reunited does not seem to have all the census listed.. :(
... will also revisit the church records for Over Stowey to find his first marriage, think I have poss bapt 2.2.1812, parents John/Elizabeth . also for Mary Ann,25.12.1821, parents Joseph/Elizabeth.

Once again thank you for your help

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Re: PIMBLET / STEVENS - Salford / Liverpool area
« on: Sunday 01 May 11 16:20 BST (UK)  »
thank you Alan for your info. I know Joseph/ Herman died between 1884 - 1891. his daughter Clara Adeline was between 9 and 16yrs. Her grand daughter seems convinced his name was Herman, yet it does say Joseph on Clara's marriage cert and I am sure it is the correct one.

Perhaps I should try to find a marriage for her sister known as Rosina but it seems registered as Josephine as Mo has discovered.?? what would her fathers name be on her berth certificate and Clara's ??  there was also a sister Ann who died young..

I have not found them on the 1881 census yet... ::)

thanks guys for sticking at it for me..
