    Thanks for that Wilcoxon.
The three children buried with their father include Mary Jones Richards, her sister, Elizabeth, (1840-1856) and her brother, Robert Davies Richards, (1845-1850). There were seven children in all.

 Thank you for that Mable.
It looks as if it's just another piece of the family tree jigsaw that fell behind the sofa, never to be found again. I was hoping to complete the picture but, despite the anomaly in the name being so publicly displayed, it will have to remain a mystery. Many thanks.

Anglesey / Mary Jones Richards.

I recently received a photograph of a tablet affixed to the inside wall of St. Mary's, Llanerchymedd that memorializes Mary Jones Richards. (1848 - 1867). My entry for her in my family tree simply  states, 'Married an unknown Jones'. I made that entry years ago and can't now remember the source of that info. Can anyone on the Forum shed any light on the subject; was she engaged to a Jones but died at the age of 20 before they actually took their vows. The tablet was 'Erected by a friend' enhancing the mystery even further and why is she shown as, "Jones Richards". It  should, in normal circumstances have been one or the other but having said that, my youngest daughter is named E. Jones Richards, her mother being a Jones.

Anglesey / Re: Tildesley in Rhosneigr

News flash. Anita and her husband changed their name from Thomas to Tregarnedd. She became a painter, poet and author. The name change was made in 1928 and I couldn't fathom out why the change. I was recently informed that both sons, whilst serving in the 1st WW were found guilty of homosexual offences.  As both brothers were well know among the hoy-polloy of Bloomsbury, ( one was a lawyer in Windsor and the other owned a Blouse and Garment company) then Anita would distance herself from her brothers by changing her name. Just a guess though. The 1911 shows the boys at Rhosneigr with two other gents, one a Turk and aother, Noel Scovell, the son of Major General Edmund Scovell.

I have extensive details of the Tildesley family but alas, for Anita, I lost sight of her after the 1911 census showed her and her husband staying at a Bloomsbury hotel. No wonder I couldn't trace her much after that, changing their surname  really put me off the scent. Send me your e-mail by PM and I'll send you all the information that I  have managed to collect of this family.

Thanks a million Milli. I'm done for now ... Typing with Parkinson's is absolutely hard work ... it
used to be double letters in every word but now, dammit, it's treble letters.
                                                Regards, Peter.

Oh, woe is me for being an Octogenarian and way past my sell-by date. Now I can safely record that he was indeed the oldest to marry in my family. I'm in the records too as being the youngest and the most married (five times). Thank you all for your help.
