I am not sure which home I was in I think it was Ingledene as I just saw a post from a lady I remembered named Sharon like me, If I go and look at the homes in the area I am sure I would remember especially by seeing the inside. The home I was in had a very lage staircase which we were not allowed to use we had to use the back stairs. I am sorry I do not have any info on your sister, but I found my parents by going to the Town Hall and asking for a copy of my original Birth Certificate, maybe you could do the same for your sisters Birth Certificate, or at least yours that way you know who your parents were and how many children they had. They should be able to provide you with your records all I gave then was my adopted parents names and the date of birth and they found my records, they gave me all the court papers of my adoption and my original birth certificate and application which showed my birth mother and father and an address, from there it was easy I just went to the address and was directed to one of my Aunts house, who then called my real mum and we finally met. I am looking for a Home I was in in Altrincham in 1978 to 1980 I do not remember the name of the Home, it was a home that was very large and had a seller, I was allowed to attend my regular school, although they did have an in-house teacher for the other children, There were both boys and girls, if you have any information or locations I maight be able to look up I would really appreciate it, I only remember a girl named Sharon and a boy named David who was younger than me. thank you
