Flintshire / Family link to Ravenhill Lloyd
« on: Tuesday 05 November 19 18:57 GMT (UK)  »
I recently found out a few names with help, that i can begin to start my dads mums side of the tree. What i'm stuck on is that while searching thru a family search site, i found a few more Ravenhill Lloyd names, thinking they would be linked, but born within the last couple of decades. what i need to find out is whether they are linked, and if so, where on the family line, they would start......
any help sorting this would be most welcome

I thought it looked like Croil on one entry but, given it's Scotish, it's more likely to be Croll. Not found her in Scottish baptisms with that name so she might well ahve been a widow,.

Also:

Agnes Lloyd of Hafod, Mold, widow, died 20 June 1908, (endorsed Edinburgh 25 Sept on Probate of the Will and Codicil) granted at St Asaph on 23rd July 1908, to Edward lloy, son, sole executor. Value of Estate £11,356, 3s. 2d.

If Edward married in 1904, how can she be a widow in 1908 ???

Hi all, its been a while since i was on here, so i may be a little rusty i have managed with everyone's helps, my Dads dad side of the family, now i have my dads mum side to research. Her name was Mary Dorothea Lloyd. she married John Rysdyk Meugens in 1939. i dont have much more than that, as i don't know where they got married, or what month. i dont even have her parents so its a limited search pattern at the moment. Any help will be most welcome as my sister is also interested in this as well , as i have shown her the massive file i have put together. Many thanks all

I have been looking at my family ancestors on the forces war records, and came across a name of JP Meugens, who was a prisoner of war in Italy, 1943...but i can't find any trace of him on the family tree. Does anyone have any insight into who this person is please???

WOW, thankyou, that will help a lot, i will pass it on to the person in my family who can sort the tree quicker than i can sort it, then place it in its true place, and work it from there, i know its gonna get difficult from that point as it may include living persons as well, so i will have to tread carefully, thanks again, John

Hi all, i have links of Rosalie Charlotte(1889-1916) married Otto Alwyn Schroeder, having a child Rosalie Marie,
Louise Marie(1892-1926) married Frank Norman Tate, and Theodore Henry(1896-1970) married Anne Phillis Rewell, but nothing after thet, could it be that the child Rosalie Marie, has more info than i cant find, and that the records are hiding somewhere, any clues as too where to look for the missing links, as i have said in the past, Kellie took her Grandmas surname, as she is not a direct descendant, whereas her grandma is, could the Grandma be Rosalie??????
