Sussex Lookup Requests / Richardsons of PRESTON/STEYNING deaths
« on: Wednesday 19 April 06 07:51 BST (UK)  »
Have been looking for deaths of WILLIAM RICHARDSON and his wife ELIZA FANNY/FANNY ELIZA RICHARDSON (nee Morris) in either Preston or Steyning, Brighton. William was a signwriter as was his son Reginald.  Is it possible that anyone could look up their deaths at the RECORDS OFFICE for me.at Brighton.  Believed Fanny died about 1934 at Steyning? and William afterwards as his Advert as a Signwriter in the Kellys Directory ended 1934/5. thanks. That would be great.  Showers

Is there anyone who has a William Henry George Marshall and his wife Jessie in their ancestry.?  Last known address in 1920 was 17 Meadow St, Landport, Portsmouth. Hants. They had a William Byles living with them and Jessie was the notifier of his death at age 89. .  Need to know if  both Williams were service mates (Royal Marine Artillery) and how long William Byles  had lived with them. Would be glad of any info. Thanks.  Showers

JESSIE and WILLIAM GEORGE MARSHALL ( a serviceman)  last known at  17 Meadow Street , Portsmouth area.   William Byles/Biles  lived with them apart from his own wife,  till his death  25th January 1920.  Are there any descendants of Jessie and William who have knowledge about this era, how William Byles came to be with them and what happened afterwards.  Need info to fill in a big gap.

I am in need for more information concerning WILLIAM  BYLES/BILES born Powerstock Dorset who enlisted for 12 years in 12 Company Portsmouth Division as a Gunner. 30/1/1854 at Beaminster Dorset then went to live in Portsmouth. His trade was a Blacksmith before he enlisted. He married Ellen Lampen Griffiths and 1901 census shows her to be a widow?. Are  there any descendants in Portsmouth who can tell me when he died and where.  Also his Son FRED who was married to Emily Maud Saunders. Believe they had a son born 1903 William Fred.       Showers
